Questionnaires 

Conducting primary research such as creating a questionnaire is fundamental to learn more about the audience we are targeting. This is because without their feedback, we may create a product which does not appeal to them, therefore defeating the object/not fulfilling the purpose. It is very important to consider our target audience throughout all stages of our music video production including the planning, production and editing processes in aim to create a successful outcome. 

Below is the questionnaire we created and surveyed our target audience with:



We chose to survey an equal number of males (20) and females (20) to receive consistent and reliable data. Therefore, our feedback gives us an overall opinion of music video audiences. We as a group knew it was necessary to identify our target audience before even planning our production. We identified our target audience to be both males and females aged 14-........................................ which is evidently embedded throughout our feedback.


By creating a combination of open and closed questions, it enabled us to view both qualitative and quantitative data. This is very important because it is varied, complex and detailed, therefore assisting us in the future of our video production.
